TradeKart LLC is committed to protecting the environment and promoting sustainable business practices across all our operations in the United States. Our senior leadership recognizes that environmental stewardship is integral to our corporate strategy and long-term business success. The Chief Operating Officer serves as our Environmental Management Representative, responsible for overseeing implementation of this policy and ensuring compliance with all applicable environmental requirements.

Scope and Application

This Environmental Policy applies to all TradeKart US operations, covering all employees, contractors, and business activities within the United States.

Environmental Commitments

TradeKart LLC commits to minimizing our environmental footprint through the following actions:

Regulatory Compliance and Beyond

• Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), and Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA)
• Meet or exceed requirements established by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and relevant state environmental agencies
• Maintain all required environmental permits and registrations
• Implement best management practices that go beyond minimum compliance requirements

Pollution Prevention and Waste Minimization

• Prevent pollution at the source through process improvements and technology upgrades
• Implement comprehensive waste reduction, reuse, and recycling programs
• Minimize hazardous waste generation and ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal in accordance with RCRA requirements
• Reduce packaging waste and prioritize recyclable and biodegradable materials
• Properly manage and ensure proper disposal of regulated materials including paint, solvents, and electronic waste

Resource Conservation and Energy Efficiency

• Minimize consumption of natural resources, energy, and water across all operations
• Optimize logistics and transportation to reduce fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions
• Implement energy-efficient technologies and pursue renewable energy opportunities where feasible

Climate Action and Carbon Management

• Support suppliers and partners in reducing their environmental impact
• Consider climate risks and opportunities in business planning and decision-making

Supply Chain and Stakeholder Engagement

• Encourage sustainable practices throughout our partnership network
• Engage with customers to promote environmentally responsible product use and disposal
• Collaborate with industry partners, government agencies, and environmental organizations

Emergency Preparedness and Response

• Maintain comprehensive spill prevention, control, and countermeasure (SPCC) plans where required
• Implement emergency response procedures to minimize potential environmental impacts
• Report environmental incidents to appropriate authorities as required by law

Training and Awareness

• Foster a culture of environmental responsibility and stewardship
• Recognize and reward environmental achievements and innovations
• Maintain ongoing professional development programs focused on environmental management

Review and Updates

This Environmental Policy will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary to reflect changes in our operations, applicable regulations, and best practices. The policy is endorsed by senior management and represents our ongoing commitment to environmental protection and sustainable business practices.
